Neurofeedback is a non-invasive process of sensing and training the human brain cells to improve their health and reaction mechanisms to stimuli. The process mainly happens through the four main categories of brain waves, namely Theta, Beta, Delta, and Alpha (TBDA). Theta waves are associated with creativity and spirituality. Beta waves are associated with consciousness. Delta waves are associated with subconscious activities. Alpha waves are associated with serenity and sanity of the mind.
The activities of these waves are controlled by the vesicles which hold neurotransmitters. Dopamine, Serotonin, Glutamate, Aspartate, and other neurotransmitters control emotions like joy, anger, frustration, resentment, etc. They are also responsible for cognition, creativity, imagination, intellect, logic, etc.
Neurofeedback is helpful when there are disturbances to the healthy activities of the vesicles and the neurotransmitters. The disturbances can turn into disorders when the stress levels go up. Ultimately, the brain gets conditioned to such disorders which may appear to be normal to the affected individual. Soon the condition may turn into a behavioral disorder and other psychological disorders.
Neurofeedback senses the level of disorder and deviation from the standards. By measuring them it is possible to determine the treatments for restoring normalcy. It is accurate because it detects the brain waves. Neurofeedback is more effective because it doesn’t depend on any chemicals like drugs. It is also efficient because there are no side effects of treatments.
There have been many conventional methods of Neurofeedback like neuropathy. They focus on the different sections of the brain for treatment. However, they may be limited in healing, because they focus on normalizing the four waves TBDA. There is a possibility of relapse, because they may have left out the physical and chemical aspects of these waves, which often secrete from the human body and reach the brain through the Central Nervous System (CNS).
Most of the CNS passes through the spine and connect the brain to the various organs of the body. Hence, we can say it is not just the sense organs like ears, eyes, and nose which cause emotional stress, but also the responses from the heart (faster heartbeat, palpitations due to emotional stress), increase in blood pressure (due to stress), etc. The impact can also be on the spine and the connecting internal organs.
Chiropractic focuses on the treatment of CNS and the sections of the spine. By making micro and macro level adjustments to the spine, it is possible to eliminate all the toxic elements within the vesicles. The neurotransmitters in these vesicles reduce the negative waves of TBDA considerably within a few weeks of chiropractic treatments. The normalcy of TBDA waves gets restored within a specific period of chiropractic treatments.
Chiropractic improves the Neurofeedback waves by optimizing the positive elements and reducing the negative elements. It is natural and long lasting in its impact. The process connects the spine and the CNS with the TBDA waves sources in the brain. Hence, there is perfect coordination between mind and body.
Chiropractic method of sending Neurofeedback to the brain vesicles has been found to be the most practical method of healing psychological disorders as of today.
